Whats coming out of my keyhole?

I have back up salt from when my big tank had epilitisis but I wasn't sure it worked on possible parasites. None of the others in the tank seem affected but I do tend to get alot of Alage on the tank but someone once told me It was a good sign and my Otto have been slacking but I'll do a manual...

Whats coming out of my keyhole?

I noticed my keyholes forehead area color was changing so I did water change but figured it was due to stress since my beta died and they've been together for years (beta was old no signs of sickness) but then today I noticed this. What is it and how do I treat it?🥺

    Are these both males?

I think I saw them locking lips quick as I leaving but they generally stay away from eachother. I'll keep an eye on them the next few nights Them

    Are these both males?

Should I just remove the timid one and place it in my other tank?

    Keyhole sex?

I'm not sure if these are any clearer. Could I move him into my 10G betta tank (female) until I get my new tank set up and cycled? Or would it be better to leave him in the tank being bullied? Will they be okay being the only keyholes in the tank? I thought they were supposed to be kept in pairs?

    Keyhole sex?

I'm trying to figure out the sex lol I know the other one I have is male. I thought they were bonded but then I changed their tank around and switch out plants but since then this one has been in hiding and stressed. I found it buried in the sand under driftwood. I took them both out and...

    Keyhole behavior change

Does the one in the photo look like a male? They came out for a little bit and they swam together and then they both disappeared and then the smaller one came out for a bit

    Keyhole behavior change

So when gets used it to she should go back to her old self and follow the other one around? I was getting really worried but I know the water is parameters are perfect and her buddy is doing great.

    Keyhole behavior change

The water is perfect. The other one is swimming around all happy. (I have a pair) but she (I keep calling it a she because she's smaller) has always been more shy than he has

    Keyhole behavior change

I've had a pair a keyholes for mo this. They normally are always together. Last weekend I redid their tank and added live plant and switched around their driftwood. Since then I barley see one of them or if I do it's just laying low on the gravel behind rocks or In plants. It also looks like her...

    Keyhole sex?

I'm thinking the bigger one (with two spots is male and my smaller timid one with one spot is female)
