    thanks for your reply- only a 14gall- LFS part-exchanges the plec when it gets too big- dont know much about ottoswill research-thanks for your time. thanks for your reply- 14 gall tank--can bristlenose live with a few neons,rummy-noses

    Snail Problem

    Dane, been there had that problem for ages,forget lettuce, chemical from LFS etc ... I tried everything,,, the only real answer is to get a couple of clown loaches..end of snail problem for a couple of pounds.

    Tank not big enough for loaches. Only 14gall-63 ltr have not drained the tank....snails seem to have gone...but think they are bound to come back found one in filter last weekend....still hoping!!!

    i thought getting real plants was ok...until they came with snails!! Cant get rid of them.....impossible,,,cant be done..going to drain the tank at whit. Will never ever get a real plant again morane
