My betta is sick! Please see if anyone could give some suggestions

If it is bacteria, salt should help. But I tried to replace half water and put salt in the past three days, and he seems not get better.

You are right. Just tested the water again. It looks alight. What else can I do for the poor betta? He sleeps more than before and looks a bit hard to balance himself.

My betta is sick! Please see if anyone could give some suggestions

I really change 1/3-1/2 water once a week with waste treatment solutions. There are some snails and water plants in the tanks. I clean the tanks and change filter every 3-4 days. I changed the water a lot recently so the water should be all clean now. Does it looks more like swim bladder disease?

After searching more, I kind of feel confirmed it is under the swim bladder disease. The treatment I found on YouTube is to make him fasting three days, change water every day and put aquarium salt, and start to feed a little bit on the fourth day. I was trying to the method I found on Youtube...

I saw that the ammonia and nitrite were very mild, so I thought it was okay. As @NannaLou reminded we need to do water change whenever there’s any of those, I just did some water change just incase.

My betta is sick! Please see if anyone could give some suggestions

I just googled bladder disease. My betta has the similar symptoms of this disease on his body. While I see one other symptom of the disease is being unable to swim upright, it seem he can still swim freely so far. So I don’t know. Still searching.

Thanks for the reminder. Just tested Nitrite as well. Would such level of Nitrite be a concern to snails?

The fin looks weird. What should I do with the betta?

I had this betta since last August. He’s well until he recently got some ich - white dots. But we’ve put some anti-ich drop, increase the tank temperature, and it seems there’s no more white dots on his body. But then after a few days, he’s fin start to become unhealthy, shown as picture. What...

What is the white dot in the tank? Is it algae?

Yes, have a bit at the bottom. And the fish had ich last week and we used treatment, not sure if this could be potential related to this issue.
