yo- i got a ramshorn snail. check him out. i'd like to get more as my other fish haven't been messing with this snail at all yet... and i'd like to get more snails to make more snails. :) after i post these pics i'm gonna try to find out all i can about ramshorn snails. tell me what you think...

after further research... i've concluded that my discus are pretty poor quality. very poor discus (aestically speaking) ... i thought the heavy peppering would go away completely as they're just juveniles now. but in reality, in time it may only get a little better and they'll always be runts...

yo- i noticed all of the flourescent lights specially made for aquarium use in my LFS are overpriced. where can i find the cheap lights with the right color spectrum for my plants? thanks. peace all. -mac

yo- you could try what i did... just put that tank up on cinder blocks. i arranged 12 cinder blocks and some boards for the top and bottom. cheap, looks nice, you can paint the blocks easily with a can of spraypaint and paint the boards with a lil paint and a brush any color you want. peace...

i was at the lfs today and found some nice, natural gravel. $16.99 or something for a 20 pound bag... i had to times that by four for my 55 gal. tank. ouch! luckily, i have an awesome dad who knew that i've been looking forever and footed the whole bill! what a great dad! expect to see some sexy...
