    Dying Betta

I find it absolutely hilarious that people have more of a problem with my behaviour than they do with fish abuse 😂 on a fishkeeping forum.
  2. E

    Dying Betta

No, I tried to offer advice about the problematic stocking before being told that it's supposedly all fine and not a problem. With more and more evidence of the fish being mistreated in every comment, I eventually got pissed off about it. Tbh, I don't really care for your opinion, but here I am...

Keep supporting the mistreatment of animals, that makes you a much better person 👍

    Dying Betta

When it's a factor to the problem, yes. Because I care about how the fish are treated, yes. Because this is a public place where everyone can share their opinion, yes. If you read the comments, it's sounds as if the fish are neglected which has created the whole problem. I hate how fish are seen...

    Dying Betta

"Difference of opinion" every time you've commented you've contributed more evidence to the neglect and abuse of your fish. I don't understand why I'm expected to accept it and not be pissed off by it

    Dying Betta

Do I refrain from questioning fish abuse to please you? Do you have any suggestions as to how I can question why someone is subjecting their fish to stress?
  10. E

    Dying Betta

Probably as he has a weakened immune system from stress. You realise you can't just skip evolution like that right? You've still mixed hard water fish with soft water fish within hard water and having a male betta fish, permanently live alongside female betta fish is frankly mental. I really...

Is this pop eye or dragon scale?

Could be abit of both, definetly looks blind though. Are both eyes the same? The fish itself is a dragon scale and dragon scale bettas are prone to eventually having the scales grow over their eyes. The fish can still live happily if its keeper adjusts its tank and routines to its needs to help...

Here goes - Tank Two - Low Tech/Walstad style

I'm assuming the algae is excess nutrients? How long is your light cycle? I'm not expert tbh, I just plant and hope for the best, replace what dies with something easier and waste money 😂 I'm quite lucky that my tanks are balanced on the algae front. Not sure if that's because I only use a...

Help me setup my Betta fish tank

Betta's are not hardy fish anymore. Genetically, they are weak. Fish in cycles are typically not recommended as the fish are more likely to suffer or die

    Dying Betta

There's more than one betta in there? And with overfeeding, what I mean is, the betta will eat more than it needs as there is more food available as you feed the other fish
  16. E

    Dying Betta

Without parameters and details of the tank, there's not much help we can give. From a glance, he doesn't look good and I'm assuming he's in hard water seen as he has mollies for tank mates. I bang the drum of not keeping bettas with other fish for plenty of reasons, one being overfeeding, which...

    Do bettas eat snails?

I put a mix of snails in my betta fry growout tank and found the empty shells of bladder snails a few days later. So I'd say it'd possible based on that experience

    Holes on my Betta's Tail

Holes likely occur when bettas catch their fins on sharp decor whether it's ornaments, plastic plants or hardscape. Remove anything sharp and change the water frequently to heal the tears

    Good News

Wouldn't bother with a sorority, especially in a tank that size. There's so much more to a sorority than just dumping the fish in a leaving them too it. It isn't worth the headache

    HELP! Water turning black

What filter are you using? Chances are it has carbon in it which is leaching into the tank. Best thing would be to throw away the carbon and replace with sponge
