This Otto has been acting weird the last 3-4 days and hasn’t left this piece of driftwood and I noticed these little things nearby. Is it eggs or is something wrong with Otto?

Okay I was pretty sure they were! Are you suggesting only leaving one batch? The only reason I would take them down is if it’s going to be a complete infestation. Roughly how many eggs is that? Do they lay hundreds or a few dozen or so? And they are definitely fertilzed?

So I’ve been doing regular maintenance on my tank but recently I’ve added some driftwood to help encourage some shy fish. Should I move the driftwood and other decorations every time I clean and gravel vac or do you guys like to avoid disturbing the tank as much as possible? Tank image posted.

I’ve fed frozen and dried blood worms, sinking shrimp pellets, sera catfish wafers, sera sinking immunopro mini pellets. Also green beans and zucchini. I asked a LFS employee what the nutritional difference between shrimp and bloodworms would be and they said one is a worm and one is a shrimp. :o

Do you know a reliable source to get any of those plants? I haven’t seen any floating plants at my LFS. I’m sure they’re all over the internet but anyone have a website or company they prefer?

Also what are some good floating plants? I have never really looked into those before

As far as nutrients are you meaning over feeding or what? I feed 2x a day usually and it’s slow sinking pellets which do collect on the leaves of the plants. Once in a while I substitute bloodworms for a meal.

The tank is a fluval 32 gallon flex tank it comes with the aquasky led light. I have it programmed for 9-10am turn on and 8-9 pm turn off with 2 hours of moonlight (blue light). Didn’t see any of this algae in my old tank. New tank has been up for about 2 months. Is this going to be an issue or it’s relatively harmless?

Oh good! It doesn’t look bad to me and the fish are active and appear to be in good health but I don’t recall seeing it before and I wanted to be sure. Thank you for responses. I’ll keep an eye out.

The only fish that seem to have it are a few glowlight tetras. I have 5 neon and 5 glowlight. 4 out of 5 glowlight have it on various levels. And the only fish that bother them are the other glowlight tetras. They chase each other around once in a while.
