I'm planning on lots of plants and some larger decorative rocks. I also brought home some driftwood for it that I have to get ready for the tank. I'm not sure how but I think I can just look it up online. I'm reluctant to use a filter because I believe that is how my dad killed my other betta...

He was in the cup because I bought him in the cup from Walmart. I was waiting for the water to sit a while, but now he's in the big tank. I am going to get a heater, but not a filter. duckweed

As I was buying him I was thinking I should have waited to buy the fish until the tank was set up, but my reasoning on that one was that the fish would have sat in those cups anyway at the store. That garden is my dad's pride and joy there. :) We have fresh veggies all the time.

It's filled, I think today I'm going to get some plants for it.

I got a betta. I was the weirdo who spent my entire freshman springfest in the computer lab researching bettas. That was four years ago. Once, I went to the store and bought one when my dad came to visit, and he took him home for me, but he didn't know how to care for one and wouldn't listen...
