Have a look at some dwarf rainbows - I have 2 and the large they get and the more time they have to settle down the more vivid the colors they display - stunning :cool:

I keep 1 red tailed black shark - (small 2") 3 gouramis (3" long) 1 dawarf gourami 2 dwarf rainbows and 12 glowlight tetra + 8 other platys 8 plants and 1" of gravel at the front and 2" gravel at the back I ALSO USE A FLUVAL 4 PLUS FILTER - I have checked the filter and it isnt in there either

My fish are not fully grown yet - but i do plan to get another eevn larger tank in the not to distant future so - when they get larger can move them on. The filter i have causes surface agitation and is only on a minimal setting at the moment - it can go a lot higher than it is - so I guess as...

I Recently read in PFK magazine that after 6 months it was possible to keep up to 71 inches of fish in a 39 gallon tank assuming that the water quality and filtration was up to standard. I have a fluval 4 plus filter on my system. Have I miss read this or is this ok. : -_-

I raised the water to 77-78 last night when I got home but unfortunately he died at 7.15 last night - gutted (me not the fish). I can only assume that he was ill when I got him as I got my water tested last night and it was fine. thanks to all who posted regards Dave :no:

I have an inch of Gravel at the front - slopping to 2 inches at the back - 8 well established plants and 3 single rocks and 3 rocks together - it is begining to look a real picture - once I get a camera with a decent zoom lens I will post some pics thanks to all who reply Dave :cool:

I have just brought 3 Gouramis (2 blue and 1 gold) they are stunning fish and quite happy with all my platys and red finned black shark - p.s a red finned black shark is also a lovely fish.

The fish has no symtoms what so ever - when I first put him in the tank he was very shy and hid straight away - he was in a tank with no hiding places before -he always hid after feeding and despite changing his diet he still looked no better. The journey way only five minutes form door to door...

have you tried platies - really nice peacefull fish and come in lots of diffent colors - try looking for the blue spotted or red wag tail - if you dont like red gold wag tails are nice - or go for mollies - black or white respect now - remember when stocking your tank - keep it real
