My husband does the electrical for a someone who owns a Ferrari Enzo. Next time he does some work there I'll get him to ask if we can take some pics. and post them.( By the way it's the guy's 3rd home. )
If you want angels you need to put the guppies and neons in another tank. Especially the neons because they are the natural prey of angels. The mollies and platies will be fine with the angels.
Swordatails are my absolute favorite livebearer. My Mom used to have a livebearer tank setup when I was little and I always liked the swords. I am currently trying to convince my husband to let me get another tank so I can do a livebearer setup.
I think you get hooked as soon as you start. I have a 75 gallon tank and I am trying to convince my husband to let me get another tank (without any luck so far :( )
If you only want 1 or 2 to live then I wouldn't do anything different. If you have a well planted tank then a couple are sure to survive hiding among the plants.
I am so sorry about your angels. :-( I don't think you should give up though. I would either try different fish or, if you want angels get another tank.
I'm so happy to know that I'm not the only one who names their fish. My husband constantly picks on me about this. Now I can tell him other people name their fish also. Thank you. :D In my opinion I liked the vacuum cleaner names that was pretty clever.
