Okay so when I do a fishless cycle, and i get all my levels exactly where i want them, how many fish can i add?

I know it isnt the prefered way to cycle a tank. But I read somewhere to do a 25% pwc everytime your tank was at or above 0.25 ppm, so 1 to 2 times per day, and your fish would be fine and not that effected by it. What is the truth to this, what is the pros and cons, ect.

Do i have to have real plants, if i dont is it bad?

Just curious, Why only 1 gourami allowed? Also- if i put a lot of IAL in a small tank like this (10gal) wont the water become dark? A yellow or light tinted coloe wont bother but if it is reddsh Or black i may not want that.

Awesome, Sounds like a pretty stocked tank! I know the Loaches have a low bioload which I assume is why you can have so many in there. I have 3 fake plants in the tank right now, do i just kind of place the Almond leaves all over or just sporatic?

Can they be put together in a 10 gallon tank? How many of each would you reccomend?
