    Cycle or stabiliser should help this issue by lowering these levels. Its caused by not enough bacteria in the tank.

    Purigen Product Advice

    I usually 25%water change about every 2-3 weekS. I dont recommend doing a big change so often as this might shock the fish. Maybe 5-10% every few days if you must do it.:-)

    Im not sure how big a 10gallon is as we measure in litres here in nz but it seems that its quite small. In terms of cory cats i have 2 pandas in my 60 litre and they are very happy. Pandas stay very small in terms of corys so a good choice. They are about $16 each here.

    Welcome! I recommend community fish to start with. Theyr usually easy to start with. Some tetras and maybe some corydoras. Remember to get at minimum 5 of each species as they like to school. the more of each the better. :-)
