I assume its something like java fern / moss that you have on the bottom at the front ? i like it alot it looks really good and how did you manage to get it to stay there ? did you weave it in to a grid ?   also i like the layout of your tank you can really capture everything and its not over...

Hi all ! ive had my tank setup for over a month n a half now i think... Anyways i have 6 barbs and a cabomba plant in a little clay pot and i got it from the aquarium when i got my tiger barbs as i new they like that plant...    So they have been nipping it and eating it like normal and brushing...

Some pictures of the Barbs ... most of them are hanging out in their log but im not going to kick them out for the catwalk ...         And as for people saying watch out for fighting and nipping etc.. they have all been in that log now for hours.. its about 5 inch by 3 inch and its a resin...

okay i will be looking out for bullying etc.. i have notice they play alot all together and there never really is an outcast and at the most they seperate in to 2 equal groups but i will see whats happening more closely, I have another tank thats slightly bigger coming tonight witch i am buying...

what kind of issues will i be facing and symptoms  ? also these will be measurements for  the tank ...

haha yeah ive just been informed this from another member on one of my other threads !    They are only small at the moment i mean the biggest one i have currently is 4cm including the tale,    I will be using this tank and the other one i have thats the same but a box version as breeding tanks...

Yeah i was affraid the tank was going to be a bit small , i know for now that they arent very big and they are still small little fish i am looking in to getting a bigger tank something like a 50 inch tank thats more wider that taller i will be making it from glass i have from toughened double...

its a bit late now but another good tip it you can get mature media from your aquatics centre ! if you ask nicely and i know some places you can buy it :) good luck with your tank it seems like its all coming together now ! 

its only a small tanks its a 20 litres bow front one , i dont really have room YET for a bigger one in my room , i have another 30 litre box tank aswell will be a breeder...   Also will be making a really large tank with the double glazing i have been acquiring ;)

I used mature media ;) i couldnt wait to get them in haha im a bit inpatient when it comes to cycling the tank, also i just threw the gravel in there ( not literally ) because the fish kept chasing there reflections on the bottom and bumping in to the walls etc. and also where my tank is...
