I think I've figured it out. The two pictures of the fish with the dark gravid spot are the same fish. The first two pictures are two different fish and there's one more but I couldn't get a picture of her because she was very skittish. But she doesn't seem to be pregnant.

I just got guppies this weekend (2 males, 4 females). The males are very energetic but all of the females just hide behind rocks or in plants near the bottom of the tank. Thank you! I'm just starting a 10 gallon tank and I would like to start with 6 guppies (2 male 4 female) but I want to get different varieties and I wasn't sure if they would breed together. I think it would be fun to see what patterns and colours come from mixed varieties.

This may be a dumb question. Can you breed different types of guppies?
