yeah the electric blues are lovely. could i still have the silver dollars and some rainbows? and how many do u suggest? just researched the rainbow fish, they only grow to 3" wouldnt they get ate?

its 6ft.2    ..... but other people have said you can have more problems if the cichlids establish a territory, so if there is more fish they wont be able to establish one and hold off all the other cichlids, but if there is only 2 they are going to fight over the whole tank

i really lie green terrors tho, my tank has a large footprint, plus wouldnt it be better having more so that they cant form territories?

my 125+ tank has a big footprint, will this not mean i could have atleast 4 cichlids, and some silver dollars? ... my jewel is about 3-4 inches atm but im not getting the cichlids soon so hopefully by the time i do the jewel will be larger 

could an oscar eat my jewel malawi when its fully grown?

i will try and get males, im in two minds wether to put the silver dollars in because i dont want them to get hurt and they are quite peaceful fish, im going to get all fish small and let them grow up together but the silver dollars and the featherfin will be larger, my jewel malawi is larger...

il just keep it at 1 convict, im thinking if i get them all as youngsters hopefully there wont be any aggression problems

yeah that helps greatly, with the size tank iv got what do you think would be the best stocklist to try and fit as many of the cichlids i like in? i can remove some of the originals to a friends tank if you dont think they would work, thankyou

my rainbow shark is an adult, hes in with gouramis and is fine, hes in with a few peaceful fish and he doesnt cause problems, if anyone gets too near his piece of wood he just moves them along but never actually attacks and hes fine at feeding time

The tiger barbs are the last surviving from an old school so im waiting for them to die, that sounds horrible but i dont want to add more when in the long run i dont want tiger barbs lol. im going to add more silver sharks and more silver dollars. they all live quite happily with no aggression...
