    I really have no clue what species my spotted ones are. Corydoras ambiacus looks closest to them from what I've seen.   The little ones are growing up so fast I'm sure I'll see their colors soon. But from what you've said I shoudl expect greens and albinos. I have six little ones.

    What kind of snail was it? Maybe a larger snail instead of a small one, a type with a trap door like a mystery snail so you dont have to worry about him hurting it? I have two and they are algea eating machines, fast, and all over the place.

    You could get him a small snail as a tank mate. The snail will clean up the algea and give him something to watch/stalk.

    So This is honestly the first time I've hatched any sort of fish egg or bred egg laying fish. I have seven cory catfish in one of my tanks of three different colors, I found some eggs glued to the side of the tank and scraped them off to save them as my female bettas had eaten most of them...
