He's on his own at the moment. My tetras are red phantoms. I may see how he settles and try and introduce something around the same size. Such a fabulous looking fish, would be nice if we could find something to put with it. Thank you everyone for your help!

I've been having the same issue with my guppies & beta. I've had to seperate mine as the beta has destroyed my guppies fins over the space of 2 nights. Such a shame!

Its a 36ltr tank.

Having had to remove my fighter and loach from the tank, I'm left with three sorry looking guppies who used to have wonderful colourful tails. Would it be OK to put neon tetras in with them once I have treated the guppies? I don't want to make Another mistake

I don't want to take any of the fish back, when I bought them I committed to taking care of them, as with any other of my pets. I have just put in more plants & decorative cave. He seems much happier already as he has swum straight to the plants and is now just chilling there. I will be keeping...

We have a 24l beginners tank, hence only a few fish as I want to make sure I do everything right and am confident before getting anything bigger. I think getting another tank is my best option. I don't want any of the fish to be unhappy in their environment.

I have read online that they can sometimes attack guppies because of the tails, but this doesn't explain it attacking everything in the tank including charging at anything that moves.
