yeah i live in an apartment so i have to watch the space and weight. I have them in 1/2 gal to 1 gal bowls. i keep them clean and they have live plants. The fist beta i had i had in a 6 gal. the curent was too strong and he tired easly. i did research and ound that the enjoy smaller enviroments...

He's beautiful. I have a red as well... He's so active its hard to get a pic... gonna have to grab one while he's in his cup for a water change. My favorite bettas are my two 3+ colored males. below... One I found is tiger striped (he's my pride and joy at least 5 colors)        

I have a double tail male. He's 5 colored. do you think a female can match him? jeeze if I can find a female to breed him with the babies would be beautiful and unique :) my male has tiger stripes check out my posting
