    Sun Coral

Black or orange... Have you made the commitment to nightly feedings, increased maintenance and teetering on he brink of Eutrophia? I have 6 now (3 black, 2 orange, 1 pink and yellow). It's hard, hard work. But I love them! Orange are easier and less susceptible to polyp bleaching.

    Starting 30l Marine

Just be prepared to "fuss" with any marine set up you choose. It is a wonderful adjunct to your current setups. What equipment do you have besides the tank?

    Starting 30l Marine

Seriously, and with all due respect, it is impossible to keep any type of marine tank if you are "not too fussed with it". They are by definition very high maintainance. Even if your goal was a tank just filled with SW and one mushroom you would need to keep your water parameters suitable for...

    29g First Sw Tank

The general rule is the most agressive and/or territorial fish goes in last. Clowns can be pretty aggressive, that's my guess for last; but I'm more of a coral reason than a fish person. Sounds like you have a nice, pretty stock list.

    First Sw Fish!

As much as you already attached to Fred and Barnabus, I'd agree with Donya.... In the long run (short long run) neither you nor you fish will be happy. A pair of ocealaris clowns would be one appropriate choice. There are many different varieties of these beautiful, fairly peaceful fish... I...

    Recommend Me A Skimmer Please

Highly recommend the bubble magus NAC 3.5 I run this skimmer myself, as I needed a tiny footprint to tiny sump that fits the tiny stand that holds my 69 gallon cube tank 24x24x24. Not only is it great or its size, but the pump quit and the bubble magus distributor replaced it, no questions...

Is "it" always closed up like that? Or does it open at times. I am very curious about this criter.

If you have any new wild zoa frags, that very well might be a tiny fungia plate. They commonly hitchhike on zoas as a tiny polyp... I've had 2, and both times they were terribly hard to identify at first. But they are fast growers and easy to sell for salt (I try to make my tank pay for itself...

    Hello From Helen!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad to be here. One of my ideas for he 60 gallon is exotic goldfish in my kitchen, so I'll be reading up on them also. I'm in the middle of a move now, so won't be posting frequently for a while. But I will try to get some tank shots up! Thank you all for the warm...

    Hello From Helen!

Hi Fishforums, I'm a marine aquarist (that sounds fancy!). I have a 60 gallon reef, and currently building a 100 reef. Then the 60 will become some sort of specialized marine Biotope I have not decided upon yet. I was referred to this forum by Tcamos. I'm more of a coral person than a fish...
