Happened to me, 50% water change did the trick, cleared after a couple of more days

looking back on my notes my nitrites spiked, then fell to 0.25 in 3 days then took a further 9 days to reach zero. Have patience, it will happen

Thanks for the comments, I was a bit worried about the Vallis (it's just the standard variety) as the Red Wags took a shine to it and had a good feast on the leaves at one point! The plants on the right are Amazon Swords.

When I went to take the picture there were 4 Red Wags and 4 Black Phantoms, guess they must be camera shy!
