7 balloon molly fry have survived. One got taken into the filter yesterday sometime and I searched and couldn’t find it. The rest are doing well. Healthy. Eating sometimes 4 times a day. Stomachs full and pooping after every meal. I do a Water change every other day, 70 percent.

I ground my food to dust for them. I feed them three to four times a day. Now they are also eating off of the filter :) little fatties. Haha good for them.

They are constantly pecking at that filter.

Funny. Their mom has one black eye and one white eye. I’ve noticed at least three of them with the same !!! It’s adorable.

Will this work for feeding ? and currently testing parameters.

Haven’t tested it yet. Will in about an hour. Added some more water to it , dechlorinated of course. Will let that circulate , and check it again. All 8 of the fry are doing well. Have good appetites. Hoping I can add them to the fry tank today or tomorrow ? I’ll post the parameters soon.

I’m going to test again today just to see where it’s at after adding the filter from the main tank. The ammonia worries me regarding adding the fry.

My main tank is 0ppm ammonia. Our tap water has quite a bit of ammonia in it.

And yes. .50 ppm ammonia reading.

There is nothing in the tank. The babies are still in the main tank in a breeder net.
