I found this site after starting so couldn't follow the method. I started on Feb 11th, put 30ml of API quick start in a 87ltr tank. Since then I've been using fish flakes almost daily. Today I started using seachem stability.

So.. I'm interested in buying some rummy nose tetras for a new tank once it's cycled. I eventually want around 10 but I know it's bad to add too many at once. Will adding 3 at a time be ok or will the first 3 feel unsafe and scared as it's such a small group? Are they likely to die within those...

Haha I'll be good with just one tank, took enough persuasion for that one lol. Don't have access to an established tank so I'll just have to be patient. My nitrite is currently 0.25ppm, ammonia 2.0. What will stability do to the nitrite as it's not established yet?

Just wondering.. I'm 3 weeks into a fishless cycle. My ammonia is currently at 2.0ppm using flakes. I've just bought some stability and wondering should I have used this from the start or is now better than not at all? More info about the products benefits the better, thanks.

It's a nice little tidy tank. I'd maybe suggest sand as a future alteration. Personally I just prefer it but it also has some benefits. Easy to vacuum and perfect for somewhere for beneficial bacteria to grow. Nice choice of gravel though. Great looking rock, is it real?

Thanks for the advice. I'm gonna get shrimp too so I'll watch out for them stealing food lol. I'm currently cycling my tank now fishless method. I really want some critters to watch. Would snails be ok in water with 2.0ppm ammonia? I don't want to harm them.
