    What’s this pleco?

We got him from our local fish store where we get all our others. We have had him for around a year, maybe a bit longer.

    Sexing kribs - please help

The brightly coloured one is the female. She has a rounded belly and is more colourful. The males are longer and slimmer. They don’t tend to get the red bellies. I hope that helps.

    What’s this pleco?

We have had this pleco for quite a while now but I’m not sure what he is. The fish shop weren’t sure either. The pictures aren’t the best but he’s very shy so doesn’t come out too often. He also has slight red tips on his fins. I’ve looked online but not found any similar. Any ideas what he is?

    What type of pleco?

Looks like a clown pleco to me. We have one and he’s lovely. It’s great to see him when he does come out of the driftwood.

    Is my Kribensis still breeding?

I haven’t yet, I was worried that if I disturbed their cave they might not want to breed in there any longer. I’ll take a look tomorrow and let you know. They have been around quite a while, not sure how old but definitely quite mature. They have dug caves before but I don’t think any babies...

    Looking for advice

Hm I’m not sure then. Our plants are doing well still and that’s with 4 Bristlenose in there. Green plants seem to last longer than coloured plants though.

    Looking for advice

We have albino bristlenoses, they are super at cleaning, them seem to do better at cleaning every inch of the tank and the plants than ordinary bristlenoses. All our plants are still in tact too.

    Is my Kribensis still breeding?

Hi there, I recently bought my kribs a coconut and straight away they took to it, spending a couple of days digging it out and guarding it. The female then spent about 2 days in it constantly apart from when the male chased off other fish, she would come out to guard it and then go back inside...
