Is grape vine driftwood safe in aquariums with guppies?

Thank you for the replies guys. It was such the perfect piece for the look I was going for. Now I’m cautious about using it. But thank for concerning it is %100 safe for the fish. If anyone has had a bad experience with losing fish with this wood please let me know. Thanks again everyone!

Is grape vine driftwood safe in aquariums with guppies?

Even with decent sized pieces like I have? Surely this sized piece would last a year or two wouldn’t you think? And the film that covers most driftwood’s after being submerged will also go away with the grape Vmvine wood and none of that would be harmful to my guppies, for SURE?

Is grape vine driftwood safe in aquariums with guppies?

I found this “grape vine” sandblasted driftwood at a random pet store I visited today. They told me it works great and is safe in aquariums. That it will develop a film for a few weeks, but it goes away.. and that it would take a few weeks to sink most likely. But I’m reading mixed reviews...

Such thing as too much activated carbon?

I grew up using it 24/7 my whole life as all the fish stores told me to do. I was just worried it being too much for the small setup. But I guess it’ll be fine. Do you know of any harm or damage it could cause to the fish or water quality using daily?

    Freshwater Planted 15G Cube Beginning

It’s not finished. I still have plans to add a few jungle Val’s in the back center of the setup behind the Java ferns. I know it’ll be a lot of trimming but I love the cover they provide. As well as one anubias nana petite and three (real/aquarium safe) moss balls. Which fish would you add to...

Such thing as too much activated carbon?

Yes. And you can recharge it also to reuse it a few times. I’ve always used it 24/7 seven in large setups for precautionary manners and was hoping these are safe doses for a 15 gallon aquariums as well.

Such thing as too much activated carbon?

Just any contaminates. I’m ocd and had a massive die off about a month ago and I’ve been letting the tank clear out. I’ve done two 100% wager changes since. Water test are normal. My shrimp seem to be doing well I added this week. I’m think about adding a few test fish soon. I have one pearls...

Such thing as too much activated carbon?

Is there such thing as using too much activated carbonor Purigen for a 15 gallon freshwater nano setup? Right now I use a medium size bag along with the normal sized pouch of Purigen in the filter sock. Along with other media. Is there such thing as using too much of these two in a small setup...
