Understandable, it makes me cringe, too. But I also feel sorry for HM's that are so over-bred for finnage. It gets extremely long and heavy, it's almost back breaking just for them to make it to the surface for a breath of air. So, trimming finnage for appearance sake= not cool, trimming finnage...

I use fallen leaves.

They say they will do the same as IAL, that's why I started using them. I've never tried IAL before though. I just put a pot of water on to boil and dip the previously rinsed leaves in for like a minute, then lay them out to dry. You can microwave them afterwards if you want to. I do that on...
