I use a Power centre on my 2ft Fry tank. Lights and Air pump are connected to it. Wouldn't connect heater or filter to it though as you would not want to turn them off by mistake.

Its ok to put sand in whilst the fish are in there. Just make sure its clean sand and dont drop it in from a great height. Play sand from Argos is very good (and extremely cheap). Just make sure you rinse thoroughly. I take the sand out to clean it. I use a Cat litter tray Scoop to get it...

I put mine Horizontal on the back face of the tank. Smack in the middle and as low as possible. I get a better "all over" temperature rather than cooler one end.

Again. I see no problem having a 4" Bala Shark and 3" Clowns in a 4ft tank. Once I see them getting bigger Ill convince the wife to get me a 6fter. :)

As I said, all happy in the tanks, and once a fish outgrows the tank I will re-home. Angels are in the 66ltr as my tank cracked so had to put them there for the time being. Whilst in the Hex 66ltr, they spawned :) so can stay there until fry are ready. One more thing. All fish are looking...

My harlequins, zebrea and tetras shoal together. Very nice to watch.... Bala Sharks I have had in this tank for 3 months but bought them about 6 months ago and they are very happy also. Zoomie is not aggressive to any fish in the tank. Not even the platty fry when I had them. Peaceful tank :)

Had the tank running for 3 months with current stocking and no problems with any fish in there :) Must be lucky....

Ive been running my 4ft tank for 6 months or so and everything is fine. 50% water change at the weekend and now my PH is down from 6.8 to 6.0. What can I add to get the levels back up ? My tap water is 7.0

Ive been breeding guppies / platties for a while now and I find that crushing up fish flakes is all they need. Very fine particles of flakes. 60+ Guppy fry and counting :)

External Filters One of the best filters I have used. Currently have Fluval 204, aqua 1000, aqua 700 and the 1000 L/H from above link. Allpondsolutions are very good quality at a good price.
