Well just a little update. I have 27 total now all eating well and are 15 days old. Looking like proper corys now also. although tiny Gonna put my adult corys in my breeding tank again. I want MORE !

Ive found that stiring up the substrate when I do a water change can sometimes Spike Ammonia or Nitrite. Maybe a Dead fish or old food rotting ?

I have 5 Tanks and I like to check levels once a week or so, keeping a record of all results for each tank. Adding new stock to a tank can raise ammonia / nitrite levels, and as a breeder I like to keep on top of it. Nothing to do with "doesn't know what they're doing". Just like to know.

As I'm always running out of ammonia testing solution, could you use half the sample of water and only 4 drops per bottle ? Will I get the same result ?

If we want a nice "Cheap" Substrate, instead of using aquarium sand we all use Argos Play sand. Question is this..... What the cheap alternative to substrate for a planted tank or will the play sand do the job ?
