Got a strange family if bugs living on the lid of my tank, where the water settles on the underside of the lid. Pic is not to good as they are tiny. They look orange under florecent light and clear without. Can't see them without lighting. Anyone got any ideas ?

get a bottle of Methylene Blue from your LFS. Very good for controlling fungal problems.

Day 5 of new spawn and nothing yet. Expecting to see the little fellas when I return from work before I go visit the wife in the hospital.

I remove the eggs on the glass by putting "CLEAN" fingure on them and rolling them off. They are sticky so stick to my fingure. Then move to net/tank. Not as fragile as you may think, as long as you dont move them within an hour of being layed.

Remove eggs carefully and put in a net or fry tank. I add some m.blue to the water to help with fungus control. Water change every day, about 50% if in a fry tank and keep a fine air stone near eggs too. 3-6 days to hatch. Congratulations on the new additions .
