I had a wonderful morning, just had people over. Sunny, blue sky and the birds singing. I raked a big leaf pile with the help of a toddler girl, we had a great time. I think she actually enjoyed the raking more than jumping in the pile :)

Today I am performing Hansel and Gretel. I am really excited but not so excited to be roasting all day; my costume has four layers... Plus the shorts and tank top I'm wearing under the costume.. But hopefully a great day!

Dee-lightful. My fact is that the classic pool smell is not chlorine, but a chemical reaction between chlorine and #1. Just water with chlorine in it has little to no scent.

Well, I got the part of the witch! Aaand I have a billion lines to memorize. But the cast is a really fun group of people and I love my part. Plus, I get to sing a blues song. Yay!

And it's times like this when I'm glad I'm in a landlocked state. Hurricanes do not sound fun in any way.

They are very small, just a bit larger than our micro rasboras, but little things are sometimes very loud.

Today I played with my grandparent's kitten, sewed a doll t-shirt dress, and am now eating hamburgers on the couch while listening to the sparkling gouramis croak. Contemplating cleaning my art room. Perhaps...

There are Pet Smart and Pet Co stores a 2 1/2 hour drive from Lander.

I'm not sure if most Ace Hardwares have pet stores. It's the only pet shop in Lander and Dad usually special-orders fish from them.

Various fish like bettas, platys, plecos, guppies ect. They also usually have mice, tarantulas, a variety of small reptiles and snakes, sometimes a few turtles, a few exotic frogs, and occasionally rats, cockatiels and parakeets. Right now they just have fish, a few lizards, and the frogs.

I found african dwarf frogs in the pet section of our Ace Hardware. They are selling two frogs in a ten inch by six inch seven inch tall "tank" with no filter, clown-puke gravel and a few little water plants. Only about 84 dollars! One of the ladies who is in charge of the pet section came up...

We have "Lander Llamas". You can rent llamas to carry your stuff for backpacking. @WhistlingBadger wants to rent some to pack out an elk should he ever succeed...

My view on football:

I am waiting to go to my grandparent's house. They got a new kitten and she's adorable. Of course, you'd be hard pressed to find a kitten that was not adorable.... Dad is back on the mountain, chasing elk around in the rain. Mom and I have the house to ourselves this weekend.
