Yep! What are your water parameters? Ammonia? Nitrite? I would euthanize the sick swordtail. You can use clove oil or stick it in a small container of ice water to do this. Although it's up to you if you want to euthanize. Are there any other fish affected?

If it's upside down like that, it's very likely that it won't survive. I'm not very knowledgeable with fish diseases but generally a fish swimming upside down is so far gone you can't save it. I hope someone more experienced will chime in.

And this is my mom's new betta, Hammie. Short for Alexander Hamilton. He, as opposed to Anakin, is definitely a photo fish. He loves striking poses. I really like both of them!

This was my tank a few weeks ago. I have since added java moss around the castle.

I'm sad because I have a nice five gallon all set up waiting for a betta and it's way too cold to ship fish. Unless you want them to arrive in an ice cube.
