Mulberry leaves, almond leaves are also great. Just make sure they dont have pesticides on them. I get mine from my pet store. My shrimp love them.

I dont use fertilizer. The aquarium does get a little sun. It's beside the window.

I also have duckweed. My shrimp tank had high nitrates and I Google how to reduce it. The answer was floaters. Plus shrimp love to graze on them especially duckweed so worth the nuisance of having it on my arm when doing maintenance. I be home soon.

No they dont. Cherry are neocadinas they cant breed with crystals or any cardina. Neocardins prefer hard water and temperature to be tad warmer then cardina. Cardina prefers soft water and lower temperature. They are also more fragile then neocardinas. High nitrates, ammonia, will kill them...

That's a 10 gallon tank. Theres...10 cardina (crystals, black ones unsure if panda, king kong or shadow panda...) and 2 bloody Mary and a jade. Which is hiding.... water soft end of scale because of cardina. Noecardina arent as picky as the cardina family. Hope's this helps.
