Well sadly my instinct was right. It past away last night came home seeing it curl up dead and one of the other shrimp was eating it. I'm now down to 5. Think my shrimp are molting.... one looks done and blood red. So 2 done one successful one not and 4 to go?

I tried petsmart to see if they had a food specific for shrimp ... they don't. I did pick up bug bites for bottom feeders. The fish and shrimp seems to enjoy it

No not yet... but besides that 1 they look healthy and act healthy. The one with the bar seems to act ok its not hiding just looks like crap to me.... it has that ring and the shell is definitely not new looking.its on the rock with java moss maybe looking for algae? If it was on its death bed...

Not long 2 weeks. I read that they will molt because of being put in a new environment which I believe all did. They are redder then before besides that one. Theres 6 in total.

Well it's the only one with the issue. What I read is it could be caused by too much water changes. So I have to slow down my 20% water change ....There is a slim chance it can still survive and molt but.... thing is it seems to act normal besides that crack....its not hiding or acting sick...

All six dont come out at same time.... it might make it hard to sex them. Maybe one day they'll surprise me and all be out at same time but if you gets can tell me if I have at least 1 female and Male I appreciate it although what's the chance of all 6 being same sex?

Now I added a new filter and 3 new guppies and bloody mary shrimp recently. They seem happy....intact one had babies and 4 are still in with them..... it's hard taking pictures of them because they LOVE the bubbles but I will try.
