This is my 1st planted aquarium ever. It's been set up for maybe 3 months if that. Lol cant remember. The one I just added is baby tears.... it looks crappy right now. I'm unsure if it will survive but we soon see. The tiger lotus melted down to only one original leaf and is now growing new...

I'm not a plant expert but it looks like a type of fern.... theres a couple aquarium ferns I know that but theres also house plants too. I have java and java moss in my aquarium. Try typing aquarium fern in Google maybe it will pop up. And wait for other more expert at this then me.

Are they from same batch?..... 1st picture looks like a bloody mary or cherry.... the 2nd also looks familiar .... 3rd looks wild though. I love the 1st two though

I have at least 4 shrimp in my 29 aquarium.... I'm unsure on the amount I bought 8 (one died I know because it had ring of death and I saw it's dead bodie) but only seen 4 recently. My tank has a huge drift wood with java fern, moss an 2 anubias attach to it. Plus lotus, sword and other good...

Actually what you're seeing is a crypt, java fern and anubias. I do have one sword but cant be seen in the pictures. It's in the back of tank in the corner. I also have java moss and a red tiger lotus.

Lol they dont hide at all which I'm very surprised by. I think one of my saphire shrimp is berries.... I see tiny eggs starting by her tail. Only worry is when they hatch will they be smart enough to hide in the plants and drift wood? If so they might have a chance if not sigh they make great...

Its been a while since I posted. After the ick incident and I losing most of the fish everything seems to be doing well..... i have 2 loaches, 2 tetras that survived the ordeal. One adult female guppy that I now call moma blue (for a very good reason) not sure how many shrimp it's a 29 gallon...

It doesn't have to be female platys if I'm correct swords and platys can breed....even with your female swords you male female ratio off. Especially when I'm told and believe that every male live bearer should have 3 females added. .. if your planning on mixing sexes now I know this may be hard...

That's one very lucky goldfish. I have to be really careful now since I have fry with the adults. It be a shame to lose one from my own stupidity when they are doing well.if a full endler adult can sneak into my clear cup it be easy for the fry that's about an inch if that.

Well it's been been another week. The fry are growing still. I see 9 that are not hiding. They dont stay still lol.Most are growing fast theres no way adults can eat them. The tank looks good. If I can get my camera to cooperate I take pictures. Its interesting seeing full grown fish swimming...

Maybe lol. Right now you probably very impatient for babies but get a couple female livebear and a male and you soon you be begging people to take them off your hands they also they can drop 50-100 fry at once. Right now I have 2 guppies looking like they going to explode anytime now.
