If blood worms involved yes they can;) they tend to do anything fir that treat. Some are more thinkers then others I believe... this one I swear I can see his brain working. He's very curious about EVERYTHING lol

He has a lot of orange and red mixture in his head and fins hope it stays like that... not sure if you can see it but his lips are black and he has one shimmer scale (dragon scale I believe its called) that classifies him as a galaxy I believe. It be interesting to see him marble over the months.

If you can do something similar it may help you. The tank is also 5 gallon it has live plants Java fern, Java moss and 2 others I can't remember the name. And a smalk drift wood.

Hi everyone, so this is my new betta boy. Just got him I'm not home yet to show you his new home to be but it be a 5 gallon planted tank.... I be taking some plants from my 20 gallon but unsure what yet lol. Java moss for sure. I think I put a ram small in it too. He's probably around 3 months...

That's a gorgeous fish. Is it a galaxy kio by chance? Just wondering because I just bought one and if it is I hope mine looks like yours when grown. It's on 3 month it's only a baby

Usually bettas are very hardy fish but I don't trust suckered fish though. They can be aggressive and like to eat the slime off fish... that might be the issue. Try removing the suckered fish see if that helps. Also depending on the bettas if the fins are long you should give them something...
