Off the top of my head there is some Rotala Colorata, AR mini, s.repens, Eleocharis Acicularis hairgrass, bacopa monnieri, limnophila vietnam mini, mini taiwan moss and subwassertang. If there's one piece of advice i can give you is get a nice clear jar, i regret using this jar as its too damn...

Eleocharis Acicularis sending out runners! got a small betta heater for the jar, now the shrimpies can be nice and comfortable when the temp drops in the office at night!

As Sgoooosh said, swords, anubias, crypts and also things like java moss and java fern. I'm not a plant expert but i've had success with those even in my shrimp bowl with a desk lamp for lighting lol

OK I think I'm finally happy with it lol added some baby Java ferns and red root floaters I got out of my shrimp bowl, needle fern from my community tank and added some mini Taiwan moss and Java moss on the wood.

The jar got its first shrimpie inhabitants yesterday! 5 crystal red shrimp in total.

Grabbed a bag of them from the same guy i got the tanks off!

Plants are all nice and healthy All done! 3hrs later!

Plants have arrived. Bought some round lava rocks too! Got them soaking in a bucket to get all the dirt and dust off them. Will be starting it tonight!

3 layers of substrate have gone into one of the tanks. 1st layer is organic garden soil, 2nd is amazonia aquasoil/gravel mix and top layer is ADA la plata sand. Not sure if I'll use that driftwood, just put it there to see what it looked like. Might go to the LFS today and get some plants!

Just got back to work after lockdown and my plants have grown nicely and even noticed they're pearling (a tiny bit)! Must have cycled while i was away too because ammonia and nitrites are both at 0! Might have to thank my little snail mate for that haha

After putting my walstad jarrarium on a lazy susan i thought hey why not get one for my shrimp bowl too! I finally get to see the plant growth at the back of the bowl and it looks so green and healthy! I can see the roots going all the way down into the substrate.

So far I've seen one....but we all know when there's one of these buggers there's always tonnes more haha

Found a stow away today!
