When i switched from a HOB filter to canister i ran both at the same time for about 1 month to give the new canister time to build up BB. Removed the HOB filter and the tank didn't skip a beat.

Yeh my mystery snails love anything that is edible lol i've never seen snails move as fast as these guys when food is available.

my mystery snails are always hanging off the floating duckweed in my tank. Then they just randomly drop and drag down a chunk of the duckweed with them! It funny to watch.

how about a german blue ram? they can live on their own and can live in a 10g tank.

I don't think there are any fish or shrimp that would completely eradicate BBA, they might nibble on it but not enough to get rid of it. Hydrogen peroxide works well if you don't like the idea of bleach.

How about a golden mystery snails? I've got 2 big ones in my 22gal community tank and they do a great job keeping it clean. They look awesome too!

So i did my weekly water change tonight and since i did it the male red cherries have been darting all around the tank. The females are acting normal just doing their thing but the males are super active. I've read somewhere that if this happens the shrimp aren't happy with the water conditions...

That particular tank is 1200x600x600 432 Litres. Yeh i was thinking with that glass thickness it would have to be pretty solid. They have display tanks in their showroom filled with water so i guess they should be ok.

The ad doesn't mention anything about Euro bracing and it would have to be super super invisible as i can't see it in the photos either.

There's a local guy who imports fish tanks that look to be really nice quality with low iron 12mm glass. However none of them have bracing. Would this be an issue when the tank is full of water?

I'm no shrimp expert but i think they'll be fine in that tank. Especially if you get neocaridina shrimp like cherries they're pretty adaptable to water conditions and they won't harm your live plants at all.
