I did use the full dose of salt. I went back to the pet store and the lady strongly suggested Pimafix for fungus. Not good. Overnight with the salt seemed to make it a lot worse :( I followed the directions on the salt package and diluted it. Going to do another water change right now.

Update: had some things come up and couldn’t get to the store earlier but I got aquarium salt and Bettafix tonight and just did a water change to add the salt in. I was going to wait to see any progress before adding the Bettafix. Should I wait or add it now?

Thanks! I changed the water again today and while he was in the bowl as I was cleaning the fuzzy part fell off. He had a bright red raw spot where it was (almost like it was bleeding) and now it seems like it’s healing a bit. It’s not nearly as red or open. I’ll buy some aquarium salt tomorrow...
