Yes, the goldfish are small the bigger one is probably around 4 - 4 1/2 inches where the other one is around 3 inches. I have a heater that I used to have in a betta tank that I can use...thank you for your help!!

The 1" per gallon rule is a bad rule, would you put a 20 inch fish in a 20 gallon? No, they belong in a pond.

I don't know how to answer these questions but I will tell you to make sure you use a filter that has smaller holes than the smallest fish you have so the fish don't get sucked in the filter, but I personally would use a sponge filter.

Don't forget to scrub the inside with hot water of the tank too.. I reccomend using an algae scrubber No problem, if you ever need any more help just DM me!!:good:

Also make sure to get off the little worms with a high pressured hose or faucet....

Soak it in a bleach solution. Get a large container, mix bleach and distilled water together, and place your driftwood under the water. Use 2 teaspoons of bleach per gallon of distilled water. Soaking in a bleach solution will help to kill off any spores or bacteria that are lingering on the wood.

These are baby detritus worms, I would take the water out of the tank and give all the rocks and other decor a good scrub with some hot water and then put them back in (not the driftwood) and re-cycle the tank and then get the betta and snails after your done with the cycle....

I am guessing that she is 6-8 months old...because of her size. Adult betta are normally 3 to 3 1/2 inches long....
