Wait is the OP going to get clown loaches? Thought he wasn't? Also SAE get 6-8 inches. They eat algae so I hope the OP doesn't have a new tank. I don't know what the op is getting. OP tell us what you want to stock with/fish plans and then we can help
They actually are fine in groups of 5 or 6. Believe it or not. Tbh I don't know where you are going to get these butterfly fish as they aren't common in pet stores.
You need a few weather loaches. Like 6. But they have a specific diet. They eat snails as well!
You need to get a least 6 African butterfly fish as well.
What are the water parameters for the water that you add to the tank? And yes agree with @Byron . We need to know exact parameters. Also what kind of "tiny fish" do you Have? Neons? Guppies?
Erm....just a little over feeding. Really as you feed your fish, you should feel when you had fed enough verus not fee ding enough. Just an instinct really. I have over 100 corydoras in my possession. Have 15-20 in a 10 gallon (Yes I'm a breeder), 30 in a 60 gallon. And 40 fry in a 2.5 gallon...
The minimium for dwarf corydoras is 15 gallons. I have a mix of sand and gravel. The barbels are sharp and perfect, so you don't ONLY need sand. Sharp gravel is a no no for cories. Add more neons as you can't really add anything else in there. No beta....but if you switch the neons out for...
I was gonna say I easily did it with my 60 gallon. And I have a water soften. I was gonna also say that you can always add prime. As for the clamp fin... could be many different things. Stressed, got an infection, immune system is weak, etc.
I'm not blaming you at all. As for turning the temp up two degrees every two hours, it isn't suppose to go that quick. Turn it up one degree everyday slowly. Hmm desert, so do you have any fans to put over the water?
Oh yes I know what those things are. Your fish will gladly make a snack out of them they are totally harmless to fish. They just eat food that others don't eat.
Oh sounds like you are talking about planaria! Lol they are harmless. Just means you are overfeeding some. They are just flatworms. Or are you talking about the little white things that look like tiny Cyclops?
The snails ? I see leeches and snails. Could be wrong about the leeches unless I got a closer look. What about them Though? No it won't harm snails or shrimp.
