On this forum if you initially said you had a betta, 7 neon tetras and a tiger pleco I believe the forum would’ve said your tank is overstocked! However, understanding your own predicament with lack of space which is really important, I believe a 17-20 gallon would be a really welcome upgrade...

Apologise for late reply as well, I didn’t originally see your message. The idea for CPDs is due to seeing them in my LFS in a beautiful planted tank as well as being originally from Myanmar where some Family of mine are from so feel a heritage tie there as well!

My GH is around 150 from what I was told by my LFS in regards to mg/L ppm. I want to make sure my tank isn’t overstocked as 20 additional fish in my tank makes me think I may be overstocked no? I do do 50% water changes every week but jus making sure

That tank is way too overstocked. I understand you may not have financial capacity yet but a clear 5 gallon bucket for the plecos or anything will be better! 3 gallons for that much is incredibly dangerous. You must invest at the earliest convenience into a bigger tank for the plecos or tetras...

I think i May. A couple of corys are stressed in community tank so don’t know if it’s worth moving them just yet or letting them settle a bit more

Both tanks temperature, paramaters are all the same. It’s basically whether the stress it will cause is worth the additional space

In the betta tank it’s more gentle. The 20 gal has a more advanced filter with a spray bar attafched hence will have much higher flow- not appropriate for my betta you see

Their is still clear surface breakage so hopefully should be fine, thank you. Always used to Plecos corys etc so had spray bars so this all seems weird!

I’ve lrdered some frogbit however know they need a very subtle flow of water, I’ve reduced mine significantly however am worrying about not enough oxygen exchange for the betta, is this an issue or not?
