So yes, I have to do clinical shifts in the ER as well as working on the Ambulance. And most ER's wont allow students in unless they are vaccinated. I'm not anti vax, just a bit hesitant. I guess this was my breaking point lol.
Long time no see yall,
So I've been busy, but still fishkeeping in some capacity. I redid by Fiancés office tank, with live plants and substrate. Pictures to come later. But now, right when I was about to embark on the first big fish project in 2 years I hit a brick wall. AEMT school loomed up...
Today I am working an an EMT. Tomorrow I have an 8 hour shift and I have yet another shift the day after that. Plus I get my wisdom teeth removed on Friday.
Sell them on craigslist as they grow older, put a bogus facebook market place add with "message for details" or join a local fish keeping facebook group and put them up for "adoption" and charge an adoption fee.
Went to petco the other day, saw these new bettas. It seems like petco is just breeding bettas and grasping at straws to come up with more expensive types. “Alien bettas” what a scam…more like greet common plakats…
Your thoughts????
Yes! I'm doing ok, I have moved 3 times in 5 months so things are a little hectic. I had to take a break from fish keeping because I was working 70 hours a week and only at my house 2 times a week.
I legitimately don't know....I'll take them probably. Ive been moved out for a bit now its just now I have to make decisions because my parents can't keep doing things for me.
My parents don't really want to keep taking care of them, and I can only get down to my parents at the absolute most 1 time per week (one time too many for the time being.) I just don't see a way around it. I can't take them with me because I live in a goat ridden, dusty, cluttered house in the...
Hi guys,
Really sad news. I have to give Coconut and Marshmallow up. I've moved out and am unable to take them with me. Right now they are being taken care of by my parents but that can't last forever. If anyone wants a pair of budgies I will gladly give them to any good home.
Price...
I work nights as an overnight stocker at Walmart, and work as an EMT at a local agency as well as working on a drag strip doing stand by emergency medical care and a million other things
Okay guys....so I salvaged two of my walstad tanks that had been stagnating in my room. They don't look great but they are cycled and somewhat running.
I took the exam…I’ll know within a day or so. I feel I’ll just thinking about it. Probably have to retake it. I’ll make a new study plan. I’m so sick of the dang class and dang tests
So I’m a guppy fanatic. I’m also a beta fanatic. I use Indian almond leaves and never had any problems. But I need some suggestions. I’ve got quite a few tanks. 10,20,5.5, and 29
Harder water…I work 3 jobs so money is definitely in mind but I’m not 1050 % broke. Also I am moving out to live by myself so room isn’t an issue
@AmyKieran
Things have kinda gone down the drain for me. I haven’t really been into fish keeping. I just have been really really sick. Plus school. Now I’m done with school forever, so I need other stuff to do. I’m back to fish keeping. I need help to get started again and please drop your advice below
So....I'm on the last leg of my emt course. One last test....the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician exam. Every time I think of it I think I am going to hurl. Anyone ever taken the test and can just help me with this? I've passed every test and every exam but now I just feel like all...
I am trying to move to over night shift, working 14 hours per day on the weekends and trying to finish my EMT certification. I need the day to be about 3 hours longer.
Go ahead and get a 10 gallon. Look on craiglist, petco, petsmart, amazon, or goodwill and you'll find a good deal. Then add some live plants, and maybe a small filter and a heater. You'll be better off and your fish will love you
If I could go back in time I'd go back to my past self and tell her exactly how prom and prom night is going to go and then give her a concussion so she couldn't go.
I'm not vaccinated and dont wear masks, already had it. Felt like death for 3 days and then was fine. In comparison to other flues and colds I'd say its not bad.
