My Husband approved an up to 55 gallon tank for our new home

I agree, I think they would thrive. But I'm also drawn towards larger species of fish, like perhaps an angel fish or 3 or maybe even some discus.

My Husband approved an up to 55 gallon tank for our new home

Thats really why I am doing this, I love seeing all the unique fry and I used to sell off the males and females to local fish keepers, I may even start my own strain of endler guppy hybrids. Who knows!

My Husband approved an up to 55 gallon tank for our new home

@Essjay and @JuiceBox52 I was thinking of doing 5 males from distinct lines, one white, one endler lyretail, one dumbo and 1 endler fancy guppy. Then getting, 1 female endler, 2 fancy females, 3 tiger females. I think that should give me enough diversity of bloodlines.

Haven’t had a chance to find that out, it is well water though, just looking for suggestions about what would be happy in a 55 gallon

My Husband approved an up to 55 gallon tank for our new home

recently my husband and I moved to our new home in even more backwoods Pennsylvania. I asked about starting a larger fish tank and he approved (as long as I don’t spend too much cash) and up to 55 gallon tank. So what do I put in this tank? I was thinking a guppy colony, or maybe angelfish...

    Ramshorn not thriving

I got some ramshorn snails yesterday and acclimated them. They are NOT thriving and I’m very concerned. The tank would be considered a fish paradise with plenty of plants, some algae, no aggressive fish, and is self sufficient and sustaining. 2.5 gallon heavily planted walstad tank. Water...

I was going to do a filtered walstad. I believe the plants will be beneficial to the fish

@Back in the fold I actually like that idea. I also considered doing 3-4 male guppies which would fit nicely or mabye a gourami

    It's been a while...

Hey! I have only ever had to rehome a few fish. I would recommend putting him on craigslist and HEAVILY vetting the prospective fish parent. You could also join a facebook group and ask if anyone there can take him! You can also post it on your social media and see if any friends are willing to...

New 10 gallon - choice between betta, guppies, neos, potentially dwarf gourami?

Hey! As long as your water parameters are good I think a betta would be the best. I've moved a couple of times with bettas and they are hardy little fish. I would wait till you are settled, like you said, you don't want to get too attached to them if they might not do well and perish. I think...

I’m actually going to pick up some water lettuce and dirt. He should be in his new tank on Thursday or Friday. For now he’s going to go into a temporary hold vase…it’s about half a gallon and will have plenty of plants

I started Advanced Emergency Medical Technician school :(

A&P is my main focus right now! Next week is assessments IDK maybe. I struggle with neuro stuff, but bones and pharmacology are my favorite subjects. Also I really like actual assessments, and using the monitors. I can't wait for 12 lead week :)

I started Advanced Emergency Medical Technician school :(

Just a regular surgical mask is required in the ER, that is nation wide. N95 are not required on the ambulances at least not in my area. It varies by company. I guess its just up to administration and those people, way over my head lol

I started Advanced Emergency Medical Technician school :(

I think it might be a little easier than EMT school in some aspects, since I am building on the knowledge I already have, but its too early to tell. lol. Thank you for the congrats. :):banana::rofl::banana2::banana3::dreads::hatchetchase::jumprope::rainbow::rock:
