Totally agree I do my water changes Sunday morning and Wednesday night and my fish all seem to do pretty well. I only ever seem to have aggression related deaths and they don't suffer with diseases etc

The prison I went to today was in Wales, Wrexham and it was lashing it down

Geos are great fish if you do go down that route, I have two altifrons and want a couple more as now they are maturing they are stuning They are a pain with plants though and just dig them out with the sand sifting

It can be left to grow as normal otherwise itll remain too small and thing and when big enough and when taking it out of the trunk cut the roots back a lot at repot time in spring. I cut my roots back quite harshly on most plants at spring when I repot
