The acara fry will most likely eat the cory fry. If you know what corys have been spawning move them to a different tank. Usually weather changes stimulate spawning behaviour. Also after the female has spawned, remove the adults and let the eggs hatch. This is if you have a spare tank.

That would probably work. Maybe another yoyo loach but that shoould be fully stocked. Add all the loaches at the same time so they can set up a hierachy between themselves. If you get 7 of them and then a week later you get another one, that new one will probably be bullied by the dominant...

Ideal tankmates for Jack Dempsey is well... nothing really annoyingly. They have a reputation for being a very aggressive species, and the silver dollars are very timid fish so could be the wrong tankmate. If you want to go with tankmates maybe tinfoils could work but they get to 20cm+ so...

Lemon or black neon tetras would be good tankmates. May I ask, will you be getting juvy angels or adults. I'd personally go with the juvys because they won't try to eat the smaller tetras.

Your snail has the algae as food. Try putting a small piece of cucumber in. The snail would like that.

Tetra do a product called cory wafers. Drop 2 of them in at feeding time and the corys should be able to get some food. At least I think it was tetra. Search up cory wafers on google and it should pop up.

Yeah corys are active schooling fish and need a 15 gallon+ tank too be happy. They also need a group of at least 5 too be completely happy.

Some bettas are fine with tankmates. Amano shrimp or nerite snails are, imo, the ideal tankmates.

I would take it a step further @WhistlingBadger. I would say a 15-20 gallon is a minimum for neon tetras. They need a lot more space than people think.

Hang on before we make any justifications, do you know the dimensions of the tank? Do you also know the general hardness? As @Sgooosh said above mollys and platies like harder water usually in the 250ppm range whilst your corys prefer water around 100ppm. ppm is the measurement for what the GH...
