i have a 20gal tank 3 adult mollies and about 30-40 juvys that will be given to my mother's friend at 5 months. they are on their 4 and a half months and the males are already practicing to mate by chasing all the females.

The thing is they are the only ones in my tank, not that it's boring but i want to give some color to the tank.

I bought a trio of dalmation mollies yesterday, and both female sspawned when i woke up this morning. When will dalmation molly fry be adult/ready to breed? When will dalmation mollies spawn again? Do they also store semen? Or do all livebearer doo that? BTW, my tank is now cycled.

I'm getting a 10 gal tank tomorrow because as i have read, mollies breed like crazy. So if i'm using purified water, do i need to cycle? And can i keep fancy guppies in brackish water with mollies?

They were spawned this morning, but the tank is kind of dirty. i was planing to clean it tomorrow but they spawned. So can i put them in a cup and clean the tank and put them back in?
