Anyone on here breed Rams of any kind. They are quite hard to find in and around Birmingham and I'm not keen on paying Fish shop prices for the poor quality.

I'm bored of ripping my tank up to catch fish. So I'm trying to reverse their fear of the net by placing meaty treats in the nets and letting them swim around and enter and pick from it. Anyone tried this? Anyone been successful?

How difficult will they be with water changes? I don't want their eggs to infest my cleaning bucket and transfer to my large planted tank.
