Its a lovely looking tank and wouldnt look out of place in a room full of antiques and decrative pieces but it doesnt really have a place in the modern home.   Im more of a glass tank with a pelmet type guy myself.

Ch4rlie has given you perfect advice there ^   A little longer of a tank would make the world of difference option wise and if it means you can stock your preferred fish thats even better.

  While ive never wrapped a stand yours looks like its got plenty of places for tucking over the edges and making it look reasonably good! lol

I know a few people who have hob filters and use them as a mini refugiums, they have alot of success with them. I dont know a huge deal about it myself as i have a refugium in my sump. What i do know is chaeto is worth having for your tank!

Yer they are cichlids. im unsure on species either but someones bound to know

in my opinion everyone should have a sump :D lol but im a salt water keeper and we love our sumps so i could be biased
