So this is on hold for a bit....i have decided the goldies really need their tank back. I really cant do much until my arm is ok again, and that could take a while, so it is back to a normal black painted background tank for the time being anyway

Shufflin time again.....and gonna be slow going with only 1 good arm and having to wait for help to move tanks/stands etc when hubby is available..........but gonna get it done   The 5ft is now moving down to the fish room, to get it in, the 5ft pep tank has to be emptied and put on the shelf...

Swordtail :) I wouldnt keep them with angels, they tend to be nippy on long fins and slower fish

So i finally have the tank cleaned up (silicone etc off where the old background was). Currently it is sitting on my kitchen table lol. I cant do the render or such until it is outside in the undercover area as its just too messy. If hubby is around tomorrow and i can get my eldest demon spawn...

I would love breed tanks though, i think it would look awesome, but that many large tanks....Hubby would kill me lol

Yep, my ranchu are in their own tank. It is only a 1ft in height, ideal for them. All the others are fine together, although i am thinking of keeping the moors and pandas together and the ryukins and orandas together

I swirl the gravel cleaner above the sand, stirs up the crud but leaves most of the sand behind...........or i change the sand over to PFS, which you can clean like gravel

Celestial Pearl Danios are available in Australia Nick......they are very expensive though and are called Galaxy Rasboras as well here

So tonight on FB i get an unexpected message.......would you like our tank?   I'm like huh? What size? What comes with it? and more importantly how much?   The answer...............I think its 4-5ft, it comes with a cabinet, canister, lighting, gravel, fake plants, ornaments, heater, nets etc...

All but the 6x2x2 are inside the house :)

This tank is not their future, it is a temp holding tank while their tank gets moved and a background made.

This tank is only 50gal...

She doesnt have eggs developing as yet, as there is no saddle.   The stripe is normal

Finished the new scape....just needs some clear up time. The rainbows now have way more swim room, and i actually think it looks better, well will once it grows in some...   Tried for a pic but will have to wait for it to get darker in the room. Presently all the fish are a bit dirty on me...

The water is crystal clear this morning, very happy with that! Tried to grab a new pic but just way too much reflective light on the glass, so will get a new pic tonight

The new scape...   Home to 4 dwarf gourami males, neon tetras, cardinal tetras, ember tetras, dwarf loaches, albino bn, common bn & cherry shrimp     Once its had some grow in time, it should look somewhat decent

This tank is next in the firing line for some scape work.....the rainbows have had a glorious time eating the plant life lol So all will be pulled and i them need to figure out what i am gonna do with it

This scape is no more....i completely gutted it today.   I didnt realise the timers were not turning the lights off at night (so running 24/7). The foreground had an algae outbreak, so i rescued what HM i could, the rest got binned. The HM at this stage will not be replanted in this tank.   All...

Dropping the temperature in the tank can slow down, even stop, breeding. I used to do it with the ones i had that were in a community tank. Chances are the eggs/fry will get eaten anyway

Male dwarfs do fine on their own......   I do however have 4 of them in the same planted tank, they all get along pretty good i must say

I think what is holding me back is that LouLou's death was so traumatic, it really hit me hard. Hard to explain. I have no doubt i would love any new baby that came here, no doubt what so ever...just yeah, something is sitting there niggling at me... The pups arent due until Sept anyway, and...

I have been offered a German Shepherd puppy, that is registered and it will be stunning i am more than sure (all the breeders pups are!!)   But......   I a, not sure if i am over the loss of LouLou, my german shep pup i lost at 6 months old to king brown snake bite.....that absolutely tore me...

So i have a new bit of wood     I am getting to the point of rescaping the 2.5ft, i am just not sure this bit of wood will fit in there.....so i may redo the 4ft, seeing as the rainbows are being sods and eating my plants lol, making it more wood orientated than plant....   So we will see what...
