This is a theoretical question, the tank does not exist. When it does, it will be at least 500 litres. I am more concerned with what the above fish will do to the above plants.

How would a plant set up like this image, hold up against the following fish. -Green Terror -Severums -Oscars -Jewel Cichlid -Flagtail -Silver Dollar -Tinfoil Barb -Bala Shark -Rainbow shark/Red Tail shark -Snakehead -Arowana

The flagtail is a beautiful big centrepiece fish. I’ll certainly look into them a lot more in anticipation of my next tank, thanks for the idea!

If you could name me a dozen large cichlids that won’t mess up a planted tank I’m all ears :) love them

I’m okay with the carpeting plants going, they’re not true aquatic plants and uproot them self all the time anyway. Would things like the Swords and Vals survive? Would it be worth uprooting them and adding weights or would that disrupt there roots and make them less stable?

Didn’t get a strain, they were brought from my lfs from an assorted tank of a variety of different types. Some are all black, some silver with black stripes, this one is the odd one out with the kind of spoldge. Be interesting to see as it gets older 👀
