I would recommend a deep vacuum once a month and the the other times you can hover over the sand with it.

I just got some Java fern at my local aquarium store, aka the first store I’ve saw that actually has bettas in a fish tank. But anyways, here’s my 10 gallon, where do you guys think I should put it? And ye I know the title says 5 gallon but that didn’t actually work out.

They called betta logs, but they can be used for any fish, it’s like if there bored it gives them something to do I guess

What I think narrow leaf Java fern would be a good option, what should I get for it though. Does it need a specific type of substrate? What do you need to keep it?

What’s the difference between the ones you have to attach to decor and rocks and the ones that have to be in the gravel? Which one is easier in your opinion?

I want to get a 5 gallon aquarium and want to use live plants, it’s my first time I’m gonna use live plants and I want to know what plants I should get for it and that would look nice and be ez to take care of.

I know a small aquarium store that’s actually really close to where I live so I’m probably going there to get fish from now and on.

I just got ammonia test strips today and the test showed 0, I tested twice in fact. Now I 100% know it couldn’t have been the water and it was the fish that I got was the problem.

Yes I did make sure it was all dissolved, not in a jug but in a cup of water.
