I just came upon this thread and am amazed at how methodically you've put this tank together and it's stunning! And OMG that BNP is sooo tiny!!! I've never seen one as small as a nerite! I have an almost identical nerite that's been with me for almost 7 years now. Such a wonderful little cleaner!

Heater arrived late day yesterday! I slowly brought it up to 86 over the course of the night. I'm terrified of cooking these tiny inhabitants! Fingers crossed!!

Haha. My dog would pack a bag and leave if anything took more attention from him. He screams like a howler monkey when no one is tending to his dramatic needs. He’s a handful but we love him.

I don’t have room for more tanks. This one sits perfectly on my kitchen island countertop. And I enjoy giving it all my attention. Well the attention that’s not going to my dog.

You’re correct a few of my shrimp definitely look orange?! man I’d love to have a bunch of healthy CPD but my tank is only a 6 gallon…. And I’m just hoping these 4 survive.

Oh…good to know! and they’re actually cherry shrimp of varying shades of red. Some super red with red legs and then some that are paler and have white legs.

The bottle is pretty big. I have a tiny little nano tank so I've had the same bottle for years. I keep it in the freezer and just remove what i'll use for a few months.

Not only are they skinny but after super close inspection by way of slow mo video and zooooom I’m pretty sure they also have ich. I didn’t think it was possible when they are THIS small but they clearly have risen white dots like sand. So I’m sure they’re all goners. what a bummer.
